TNA Impact Review

TNA Impact Review - June 11th

Impact starts with Aj styles coming out making reference to Ric Flair who isn`t there at the moment and TNA shows last week`s show where Flair told AJ to go home and regroup because he is no longer in his good graces.

With him, he had Beer Money, Kazarian, and Desmonde Wolfe. He went on to talk about there being a four on four match and that one person doesn`t belong and that one person is Kazarian. Kazarian quickly objected to that and got in AJ`s face only to hear Ric Flair`s music with Jay Lethal who was doing the Ric Flair impersonation that he`s now known for. He went on to introduce his partners `the Monster` Abyss, and Mr. Anderson and when AJ mentioned that there are only 3 there compared to their four, Jay as the “Nature Boy” mentioned Abyss being so big he is worth two people.

They proceeded to the ring and started brawling leading to Jeff Hardy coming out and evening up the score from five on three to five on four.

Up next, they had a short vignette with Brian Kendrick who spoke about his place being what it is because his dad was schizophrenic, and his mom being a genius.

The match up next was Kendrick vs Homicide, and before the match homicide said he`s seen crazy streets style and that this is not much to him. Homicide during the match took a hammer and screwdriver, and chose the screwdriver as he returned to the ring as his weapon of choice but the ref grabbed Homicide`s hand only for Kendrick to hit his offense and pick up the win.

Showdown between Buh Buh and Jesse Neal who called him out. Neal tells Buh Buh Ray that he wants to talk to him face to face. Brother Ray tells Neil he doesn`t need his credit, he`s the most legit person in the wrestling business and before he was introduce to Team 3D he was a failure in the navy.

Ray then punks out Shannon and asks him if he`s got something to say, then he should say it “Bitch”.

He then told Brother Ray to take his puppet and get out of here. Brother Devon then told Shannon that he gives him a pass because he is with Neal who they trained, and then tells Ray to get his head on straight and leave the kid alone.

Devon then walks away and a brawl ensues between Brother Ray and Jesse Neal.

They show a flashback of Sting vs Jarrett where even before the match Sting had beaten Jarrett to a bloody pulp and dislocated Jarrett`s shoulder pulling the shoulder of out its socket.

Matt Morgan then speaks to Bischoff and asks him who his partner is using the `we` gimmick despite it being way overdue.

His tag team partner is waiting for Morgan at the entrance, Matt Morgan looks like he knows who it is and takes a moment to take it in. Hogan comes out to a great reaction, with a microphone in his hand.

He starts making fun of Morgan saying “Waah waah” and that he never saw him stab so many people in the back. Hernandez comes out before Hogan even has a chance to introduce him.

Hernandez goes on to beat Morgan getting his revenge on Morgan while Hogan eggs him on saying those two are going to go at it at Slammiversary.

As security and the EMTs are taking Morgan out on the stretcher, the Band`s music starts up and Nash, Hall and Young start heading to the ring, and while Morgan is on the stretcher Young pins Morgan in less than 10 seconds to retain their titles.

Rob Van Dam is interviewed in the back and is asked by Christy Hemme what his thoughts are on Sting`s recent behavior, and actions which RVD responds to saying that there`s a reason he`s champion and Sting is not and that he he knows he is the icon only for Sting to attack Rob Van Dam and choke him with a towel and steals his belt. After the attack all the security is attending to Rob Van Dam and a he`s coming to, he asks where his belt in and when he finds out Sting took it he gets right up and goes on the hunt.

Kurt Angle is up next, saying he wants TNA to hold nothing back and to bring out his opponent. Amazing Red`s music and follows by Amazing Red coming out and they start by shaking hands.

At first Red does a bit of his signature moves and shows his speed with tilt a whirls but Kurt catches him and gives him a belly to belly suplex. They go to the outside and Amazing Red hits a hurricarana but as he gets his offense back in the ring, Kurt Angle gives him a huge clothesline and ends his momentum.

They continue to go back and forth, and Kurt hits a suplex and then gets ready for the angle slam which Amazing Red reverses but Kurt Angle regains control and hits it on the second try and gets the pin and the win on Amazing Red.

Sting then says he has the belt now but on Sunday he will own it because the word of the month is Deception, and whether Rob Van Dam is in on it, that is what the belt represents represents. Change is coming, it`s showtime. Sting takes a look at the belt and laughs.

Kurt Angle believes the company has grown because of the wrestlers.

Next up is the 4 on 4 main event, starting with Aj Styles, Beer Money and Desmond Wolfe.

Next comes their opponents which include Jeff Hardy, Jay Lethal , Mr Anderson and The Monster Abyss, together with Chelsea.

First up are Jay Lethal going against Robert Roode who lock up right away and go back and forth as Roode sets up Lethal against the ropes and fires some chops but Lethal comes back and hits his signature backflip back elbow combination off the rope.

He then tags in Abyss who hits some lethal punches on Roode and goes for the splash in the opposite corner but misses allowing Roode to tag in his partner, James Storm.

Abyss proceeds to take it to Storm and then tags in to Mr Anderson as the crowd cheers. Anderson then tags Hardy which goes on for about 3 more times as they continue to take turns on inflicting damage on James Storm which finally leads to Hardy hitting ten punches in the corner on Storm as the crowd counts along.

Desmond Wolfe is tagged in as him and Hardy go at it, and Wolfe gets the upper hand and leads Hardy into his team`s corner allowing them to take advantage and beat down on Hardy as AJ Styles gets tagged in and drops the knee followed by the cover only to hit a two.

Tenay and Taz discuss the fact that Flair told Styles to go home and regroup and when Styles came back Flair was not there and question whether this was just a coincidence or intentional on the part of Flair.

Desmond Wolfe continues to take it to Jeff hardy who reverses but gets hit from behind by Wolfe`s team as Styles and Beer Money continue to beat down on Hardy in their coerner causing the other team to get frustrated and try and get in the ring but are stopped by the referee as they have not taggedin.

Robert Roode is now in control and does his signature Beer Money taunt together with his teammate James Storm. Roode hits a catapult on Hardy that launches his neck into the ropes and goes for the pin attempt but only manages to get a two count.

Abyss finally gets tagged in and starts going crazy and clears out the ring but Wolfe hits a left-handed lariat and then demands a chair be given to him by Chelsea, telling her that in 3 days she`ll be his again who hesitates as he grabs the chair from her hands but Abyss punches it straight into the Wolfe`s face as the crowd chants “TNA, TNA”.

After Abyss punches Wolfe via the chair, Styles goes for the springboard forearm shot and Lethal then tries to hit a springboard that is caught in mid air by Styles who hits the Styles Clash and gets the pin and wins the match for his team.

The losing team is shown outside bloody.

Sting is shown again backstage and asks if he didnt really think its going to be that easy, because it`s all about deception and shows the belt with the newly added `deception` sticker on it.

Rob Van Dam looks for Sting and is attacked from behind and is brutalized with every object that can be found including tables, garbage cans and is reversed as Rob Van Dam throws Sting into the concession stand.

They continue to go back and forth, and proceed to fight into the ring. Sting throws Rob Van Dam a few times into a metal trash can as Van Dam lies in pain. Sting continues to put the beat down on Van Dam and they finally get to the ring as the crowd cheers as they both continue to inflict pain on one another which Rob Van Dam uses a part of the ring to choke out Sing with.

Van Dam yells at Sting `It`s not Yours` as he removes the belt from Sting and goes out for the chair that he`s known for using like no other. He plants the chair on the opposite corner perching it between the top and second rope. Van Dam hits Sting with a superkick and looks upset and is about to send Sting into the corner but Sting pulls Van Dam and throws him into the chair.

Sting goes for the belt and picks it up and then a mic, he talks about the belt being about deception then throws it at Van Dam and tells him it`s his until Sunday and leaves as the crowd chants RVD.
